Kirk Cameron
Kirk Cameron has been a part of the national landscape since starring as Mike Seaver in the ABC hit “Growing Pains.” That role turned him into a cultural icon in the 1980s, with his mullet hairstyle, cool sunglasses, and wisecracking comebacks. Since then, he’s appeared in numerous television and movie productions, including the Left Behind series, Monumental, and Fireproof—the marriage-centered film that became the #1 grossing inspirational film of the year. He’s been featured on Nightline, Fox News, and CNN and currently travels the country speaking to 30 churches a year as part of the “Love Worth Fighting For” marriage conference. In the fall of 2016, he hosted a live Fathom theater event called Revive Us—a “national family meeting” urging people of faith to return to biblical principles and to create a hope-filled future for our children. The event took place in more than 750 theaters across the United States and was seen by more than 150,000 people. He and his wife Chelsea have been married for more than 25 years. They met on the set of “Growing Pains.” Together they have six children and host an all-expenses-paid summer camp for terminally ill children and their families called Camp Firefly.
Kathy Koch, Ph.D.
Dr. Kathy Koch (pronounced cook) is the Founder and President of Celebrate Kids, Inc., based in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Kathy has influenced thousands of parents, teachers, teens, and children in 30 countries through keynote messages, seminars, chapels, and other events. Dr. Kathy is a regular presenter at many homeschool conventions, Care Net conventions, and for pregnancy resource centers, churches, and schools. She is also a popular guest on Focus on the Family radio and other radio talk shows. She has authored six books including four published by Moody Publishers. Her most recent books are Screens and Teens and 8 Great Smarts. Dr. Kathy earned a Ph.D. in reading and educational psychology from Purdue University. She was a tenured associate professor of education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, a teacher of second graders, a middle school coach, and a school board member prior to becoming a full-time conference and keynote speaker in 1991. She has loved Jesus for years and her faith and desire to serve and glorify God is the foundation of her ministry.
Mark Gregston
Mark Gregston is the founder and Executive Director of Heartlight, a residential counseling center for struggling teens. He is also the host of the Parenting Today’s Teens radio program, heard on more than 1,650 outlets, and spends most weekends leading parenting seminars. A grandparent to four, Mark has been married to his wife Jan for 42 years. His background in Young Life, the local church, living with more than 3,000 teens, and helping thousands of parents has provided the experience to speak and write to the issues surrounding today’s contrary teen culture. Mark’s love for teens and their families began as a leader with Young Life, and as a Youth Pastor at First Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He later became a Young Life Area Director in Branson, Missouri. Following their seven-year stay in Missouri, Mark moved his family to Longview, Texas, where he founded Heartlight, a residential counseling facility for struggling teens. Since Heartlight’s beginning in 1989, more than 3,000 families have sent their teens to live at the Heartlight program. He continues to be involved with Heartlight as the CEO.
Dr. Ian Armstrong
A diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgery with fellowship training in spinal surgery, Dr. Ian Armstrong has been in practice in the Los Angeles area for more than twenty years. Dr. Armstrong is a second-generation physician and graduate of Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery Internship and his Neurological Surgery Residency at Baylor College of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals at the Texas Medical Center, where he was involved with teaching and research. During his ten years at the Texas Medical Center, he had the opportunity to train under Dr. Michael Debakey. He has twenty-three years of leadership, teaching, research, community service, patient care, trauma and surgical experience. His career has been varied, spanning from the operating room to the boardroom. Dr. Armstrong has served as Chief of Neurosurgery, held positions on hospital and corporate leadership boards, and has been significantly involved in teaching, research and development. He has also been a consultant to the movie industry, professional sports teams, professional athletes, and spinal surgery companies. A recognized leader in his field, Dr. Armstrong has been a resource for news and media, including television, radio, and print.
Ken Graves
Ken Graves is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel in Central Maine. He left home at the age of sixteen to pursue training in the ministry. At age twenty-two, he was led by God to return to his hometown to present the Gospel and build a church. In 1991, a core group of about twelve people began meeting in Ken’s apartment for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Continuing to reach out, the ministry has grown into a healthy body of believers and church plants. Ken travels throughout the United States and internationally much of the year speaking at conferences. Ken is part of the team for The American Renewal Project, where he has the opportunity to encourage pastors across the Untied States to preach the Word. He also helps pastor understand they should not be intimated when it comes to encouraging their congregations to vote with a Biblical perspective.
Tim Woda
Tim Woda is a Christian husband and father of three. He is a serial technology entrepreneur and the creator of uKnowKids, a parenting application that helps keep kids safe on mobile phones and social networks. The application has been used to protect teens and kids in more than 90 countries. Tim started uKnowKids after his son was targeted by a convicted child predator using social media. Tim lives in Reno, Nevada.
