Kirk Answers Your Questions
With CONNECT coming to theaters for two-nights only—Tuesday, February 27 and Thursday, March 1—you’ve asked a lot of great questions on social media. Here are a few of Kirk Cameron’s answers …
Is Connect Only For Parents?
As the father of six kids, I created CONNECT for parents and their kids who are blazing new trails as we grow up together in a social media and technology world. With the topics we cover, CONNECT is a great resource for parents, grandparents, teachers, youth pastors, senior pastors, AND our children.
I believe that teens and older pre-teens can learn a lot by seeing CONNECT—especially if parents follow up with a family discussion on the important topics, which include peer pressure, self-image, online safety, responsible use of technology, using tech for good—not evil, as well as the positive benefits of staying connected as families in the digital age.
PLEASE NOTE: Our friends at the Dove Foundation gave the movie their Dove Approved for 12+. You can read their review here
What theaters will CONNECT be in? Why isn’t it in every theater?
While we wish CONNECT could be shown in every theater in the U.S. on February 27 and March 1, it will be in about 700 select theaters across the country. You can search for a theater near you and get your tickets in advance by going to our Theaters page.
Do you have group tickets available?
If you have a group of 10 or more people from your church looking to attend CONNECT together, be sure to contact your nearest theater showing the movie to see if they offer any kind of group-ticket discounts.
